Reader’s Theater is not designed for beginning reading.

Upper Elementary School

Reader’s Theater has limited evidence of effectiveness for upper elementary reading. The one qualifying study included in this review showed an effect size of +0.27.

Middle/High School

 
Reader’s Theater is not designed for middle/high school reading.
